ROUND-UP: Senior hockey teams go top of their competitions with latest wins

Hautapu Sports’ senior women’s and men’s hockey teams have moved to the top of their competition standings, with wins in their latest games.

In the Men’s Reserve 4 grade, Hautapu Sports romped to a 7-1 win against Suburbs, led by a Michael Fraser hat-trick.

The win puts them a point ahead of second-placed Varsity, who they meet in next weekend’s round.

In the Women’s Reserve 3 grade, Hautapu Sports beat second-placed Varsity Chicks 2-1 to move three points clear at the top of the table.
