Senior netball

Hautapu Sports Club offers players the opportunity to play senior netball in a variety of grades; Premier Women’s, Premier Mixed, Premier Reserve and A Grade. The modules are administered by Cambridge Netball Centre.

The cost to play for the Hautapu Sports Club is $128 per player for those who play Saturday competitions during the season.

Players participating in the Monday Premier League need to pay $135 for the season.

Fees for players in the Premier Mixed competition have yet to be confirmed.

As a club, we endeavour to place all players in the appropriate grade/level teams as much as possible.

Competitions and venues

Women’s Premier Grade: Monday evenings indoors at St Peter’s Private Gym.
Competition starts: Monday April 29, 2024.
No play dates 2024: June 3, July 15, July 22.
Game times: Either 6.30pm or 8pm.

Mixed Grade: Friday evenings indoors at Cambridge High School Gym.
This will start in May for 5 weeks.
Due to the short length, there will likely be two games each evening.
Details are still TBC.

Women’s Premier Reserve: Saturdays outdoors at the Cambridge Netball Centre, 12 Scott St, Leamington.
Competition starts: Saturday May 4, 2024.
No play dates 2024: June 1, June 29, July 13, July 20.
Game times: Either 9am, 10.30am, 12pm or 1.30pm.

A1 & A2 Grade (Social): Saturdays outdoors at the Cambridge Netball Centre, 12 Scott St, Leamington.
Competition starts: Saturday May 4, 2024.
No play dates 2024: June 1, June 29, July 13, July 20.
Game times: Either 11.55am, 12.55pm or 1.55pm rounds.

Trials

These will be held from 6pm – 8pm at Cambridge Netball Centre, 12 Scott St, Leamington.

  • Monday March 4, 2024.
  • Wednesday March 6, 2024.
  • Monday March 11, 2024.

Junior netball

Hautapu Sports Club offers players the opportunity to play junior netball in Years 0-8. Children play in age group levelled teams Year 0-2, Year 3/4, Year 5/6 and Year 7/8. These are Future Ferns modules with a focus on players and teams learning and improving skills, sportsmanship, teamwork and most importantly having fun while playing netball. This module is administered by Cambridge Netball Centre.
