The 2025 Waikato senior hockey season starts on Sunday March 16 with Hautapu Sports fielding four teams — twice as many as last season.
Following the successful first season of senior hockey at the club, Hautapu have two women’s teams and two men’s teams lining up in 2025.
Both women’s teams will compete in the Waikato Women’s Reserves 3 competition.

The men’s sides will take part in different leagues, with one side playing in the Men’s Reserves 3 and the other in Men’s Reserves 4.

The four teams will play at Hamilton’s Gallagher Hockey Centre on Sunday, over a five-hour period.
