Three Hautapu Sports junior netball teams made the trip to the Bay of Plenty for the final tournament on the Tauranga Netball Centre 2024 calendar.
Not only was the sun shining for the tournament on August 25, 2024, our Hautapu netballers were too, both on and off the court with their netball skills, ability and sportsmanship.
It was humbling to see the encouraging support that these teams had for each other, their teammates and their club, cheering for each other — the positive Hautapu Sports community was alive with passion!

The 7A team were awarded runners-up in their Year 7 pool.
It was great to see Hautapu Sports Club field an invitation junior college/secondary school team.
A team of predominantly Year 9 players, all of whom have previously played for Hautapu Sports Club, along with several Year 8 players who stepped up into this grade for the day.
Some of these Year 9 players have not had the opportunity to take to the court this season, so it was another great example of the supportive community we have created here within our netball code at Hautapu Sports and to be able to provide ongoing opportunities for our youth to participate in sport.
Congratulations to all three teams on your achievements and for representing Hautapu Sports so proudly both on and off the court with great netball and sportsmanship.
