Latest results mean Hautapu Sports will travel to Waikato Premiership leaders Hamilton Marist next weekend with the chance to go to the top of the rankings.
Though Hautapu Sports had a bye on June 15, Hamilton Marist scraped past Otorohanga 30-29 to stay top of the ladder.
Hautapu’s development squad also had a bye and will play Marist next Saturday in the Premier B competition.
Hautapu Colts maintained their leadership of the Waikato Colts competition with a 40-29 win against Hamilton Old Boys, after leading 19-10 at the turnaround.
