ROUND-UP: Latest rugby results set up top-of-the-table test next weekend

Latest results mean Hautapu Sports will travel to Waikato Premiership leaders Hamilton Marist next weekend with the chance to go to the top of the rankings.

Though Hautapu Sports had a bye on June 15, Hamilton Marist scraped past Otorohanga 30-29 to stay top of the ladder.

Hautapu’s development squad also had a bye and will play Marist next Saturday in the Premier B competition.

Hautapu Colts maintained their leadership of the Waikato Colts competition with a 40-29 win against Hamilton Old Boys, after leading 19-10 at the turnaround.

In the Women’s Championship, Hautapu Sports completed their inaugural season with a 57-0 loss to competition leaders Putaruru.
