ROUND-UP: Senior hockey teams lead their competition after latest wins

Hautapu Sports’ women’s and men’s senior hockey teams are top of their competition ladders after going six weekends unbeaten.

Both sides won their latest games at the Gallagher Hockey Centre on Sunday May 19, 2024.

The teams started new rounds of games a fortnight ago, with their tables re-set.

In their latest game, the women’s team beat FTHC Cruisey Blues 5-0 with goals from Reggina Petroni (2), Scarlett Brooker (2) and Bianka Ross

In the men’s reserve 4 competition, Hautapu beat Fraser Tech Development 4-1, with goals from Lochie Wood (2), Thomas Pettigrew and Dom Tasker.

Hautapu Sports Club will host a senior hockey fundraising quiz night on Wednesday May 29, 2024.

Funds raised will be used to help buy equipment, resources and uniforms for the inaugural season for our women’s and men’s hockey teams.

Entries have closed with 25 quiz teams entered.
