ROUND-UP: Premier A side stays third after 15-15 draw at Otorohanga

Two of the top club sides in Waikato rugby couldn’t be separated when Hautapu Sports and Otorohanga shared the honours with a 15-15 draw.

The match, at Otorohanga on May 18, 2024, left the home side in second place on the Waikato Premier A table, with Hautapu in third place.

In the early game, Otorohanga’s Premier B side proved too strong for Hautapu’s Development team, winning 51-26.

Playing at home, the Hautapu Colts scored a last-minute try to claim a 38-34 win against Pirongia.

The Hautapu Women’s Championship side had a bye.
