A day of golf … and how it will help future generations of netballers

Hautapu Sports have taken a significant step towards refurbishing their netball court, thanks to those who swung their support behind the club’s golf day fundraiser.

Despite inclement weather, teams of golfers and event volunteers created a day of fun, camaraderie and a show of unwavering support for the club in its efforts to create facilities for future generations.

After more than four hours of play in the rain, participants gathered in the clubhouse at the Cambridge Golf Course for an evening of dinner, drinks, quiz, prizegiving and an auction.

Skilled auctioneer Chris Moore entertained and used his skills to encourage bidders to take home great prizes, generously donated by club supporters.
