Two teams of junior netballers have created club history by representing Hautapu Sports in this year’s intermediate grade Hamilton netball competition.
It’s the first time Hautapu’s red and white colours have been part of the Hamilton competition, and the two teams had impressive starts in their grading games for the new season.
For the 20 girls taking part, it’s been a long pre-season campaign.
Trials were held on March 19 and have been followed by team building and fitness plans to ensure they are well prepared for their debut season.
Their appearances mean all the club’s junior netballers now have their seasons underway.
