Hautapu Sports Club’s Colts continued their strong start to the 2023 rugby season with a 38-15 win against Eastern Suburbs at Memorial Park.

The win extends the Colts’ winning streak to six matches and has them in second spot in the standings for the 16-team competition, trailing Hamilton Marist only on points differential.

Hautapu were ahead 19-15 at the turnaround but in the second half, they pulled away from their opponents, adding 19 more points without reply.

Next weekend, the Colts travel to play mid-table Pirongia.
