More than 80 boys and girls got the chance to pass, run, chase — and have a heap of fun — when members of the Waikato Chiefs held a skills day at Hautapu Sports Club.
Sponsored by First Windows & Doors, the event brought together young rugby fans from the Chiefs region, with half a dozen players, including Hautapu’s Laghlan McWhannell and Alex Nakaviel.
The children learned and practised rugby skills, got autographs and were treated to a BBQ supplied by club sponsor Property Brokers.
