Junior touch, our members’ cash draw AND the Chiefs live on our big screen …

posted in: Juniors, News, Rugby

Members are invited to the Hautapu Sports Club’s clubrooms this Friday evening (Feb 24) for a bumper night of fun, action and a top game of rugby to watch on our big screen.

Early in the evening, our youngest players will have a full round of Junior Touch; we’ll also have our weekly members’ cash draw between 6pm and 7pm.

Then, at 7.05pm, we’ll catch the start of the Crusaders v Chiefs game, live from Christchurch, on our big screen.

Come along and watch the game with your fellow Hautapu club members and supporters.

Our bar will be open, and food will be available.

Friday at the club

Date: Friday February 24, 2023

Venue: Hautapu Sports Club, Victoria Rd, Cambridge

4pm-5.30pm: Junior Touch

6pm-7pm: Club member’s cash draw

7.05pm-9pm: Canterbury Crusaders v Waikato Chiefs

How the draw works

The draw is open to all current club members and is drawn between 6pm and 7pm on Fridays.

To collect the prize, you need:

  • To be present at the bar when the draw is made.
  • Have your club membership card with you.

If not struck on a Friday, there is a redraw on Saturday between 5pm and 6pm but only if there is a Premier Rugby Team home game. If there is no home game, the next draw will take place the following Friday.

How much you can win

The prize increases by $50 every week it’s not struck until it has reached $1,000 when a ‘must go membership draw’ will be held.

How to become a member

It’s easy to become a member of Hautapu Sports Club — we have membership categories to suit everyone.
