This year’s Battle of the Bridge between Hautapu Sports and Leamington Rugby Club will go ahead on Saturday September 10, 2022.
After disruptions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the annual event will be back bigger than ever when it’s hosted by trophy holders Leamington.

It’s a great opportunity for Hautapu to bring the trophy home after three day’s three events:
- Legend Rugby Trophy match between sides with players aged 45+.
- Battle of the Bridge Trophy match between teams with players aged 30+.
- A tug o’ war contest between women representing both clubs.
