Community-focused companies provide helping hand to our club

Hautapu Sports have confirmed their two major sponsors for 2022, saying their support will help provide more than 1,000 men, women and children with the chance to participate in sport.

Club president Dave Simes said Property Brokers and Splice Construction had shown their commitment to the community by joining the club’s family of sponsors for the coming year.

“After a year of disruption and uncertainty caused by the pandemic, it’s reassuring that we’re able to provide our members with affordable ways to play sport, and that wouldn’t be possible without supportive companies such as these,” Simes said.

Property Brokers and Splice Construction will lead the group of sponsors whose efforts and support will benefit the 200+ men and women who play senior rugby and netball at Hautapu Sports, as well as the 850 children who will participate in rugby, netball and hockey.

Property Brokers will specifically help the club’s senior rugby and netball efforts, becoming the lead sponsors of those teams.

“We have been very impressed by Property Brokers’ community focus, innovative approach and strong commitment to partnership which directly matched what we are about as a club,” Simes says.

Splice Construction becomes the lead sponsor of Hautapu’s growing junior sports activities and will be helped by new sponsor Joe’s Garage.

“The support from Splice Construction has been fantastic and the tangible benefit will be seeing children participating in sports they love, with great team gear, together with affordability, meaning everyone can participate.

“We simply could not have done this without the very generous support of Splice Construction and Joe’s Garage,” Simes says.
