posted in: Juniors, News, Rugby, Uncategorized

Here’s our summary of information to explain how Hautapu Sports Club’s junior rugby season will run in 2022.

Our club offers players the opportunity to play primary school rugby.

Primary rugby is played either on Friday afternoons/evenings alternating weekly between Hautapu Sports Club and Leamington Rugby Club for Rippa Rugby and on Saturday mornings at Hautapu Sports Club for tackle grades.

Teams play in the following grades:

Rippa Rugby: year 0-2

Grade 8: Year 3
Grade 9: Year 4
Grade 11: Year 5 & 6

It is a non-competitive module with a focus on players and teams learning and improving skills, sportsmanship, teamwork and most importantly having fun while playing rugby.

How to register

The registration is administered by Hautapu Sports Club.

The cost to players is $60 for the season, You will be invoiced for this once your player is registered.

As a club, we endeavour to keep players from each school together in teams as much as possible.

We strive to be the best family club in the Waikato
