Cambridge’s Netball Centre have revised requirements for use of their facilities after easing of nationwide restrictions to combat COVID-19.
In a communication to the New World Cambridge Netball Centre community, the centre said:
“The recent changes to the traffic light framework make outdoor gatherings such as our Saturday netball competitions much easier to plan for.”
The centre said the following would apply for gatherings at the 12 Scott St centre from March 26, 2022:
- Vaccine passes will not be required after 11.59pm on April 4 for anyone playing, officiating, volunteering or spectating.
- Mask-wearing is encouraged but not mandated on-site or outdoors.
- No limits on the number of visitors, including players, officials, volunteers and spectators.
- Food and drink can be available as takeaway items, as no seating is provided.
The centre reminds visitors to stay at home if you are unwell, have tested positive for COVID-19 or are within the seven-day isolation period.
Indoor competitions
Guidelines for Premier Mixed and Women’s competitions will be available soon.
“Please be patient as we work with St Peter’s School to confirm their premises’ requirements.”
The centre has thanked all its supporters for their patience and says they look forward to a 2022 with fewer disruptions.
“Let’s get ready for netball!” they say.
