Hautapu Sports Club’s senior men’s side Woodcom Hautapu have won the grand final of Waikato hockey’s Men’s Reserve 2 competition.
With goals from Pieter Holtzhausen, Lochie Wood and Michael Fraser (2), the Woodcom Hautapu Men’s team beat Collegians 4-2 in Saturday’s final at the Gallagher Hockey Centre in Hamilton.
The match brought to a close the second season of senior hockey at Hautapu Sports in which all four teams made it through to the semi-finals of their competitions.
