Hautapu Sports Club’s senior hockey teams enjoyed a good day of competition, winning three of their latest Waikato competition matches.
In the Women’s Reserve 2 competition on Sunday July 27, Waipa Civil Hautapu Women’s beat TA Emeralds 3-1 to finish equal third on the competition ladder.
To decide final fixtures in the competition, the Hautapu team and TA Ecolabs went into a penalty shootout to decide the rankings, and Waipa Civil Hautapu won 2-1.
Evans & Co Hautapu had a big win in Women’s Reserve 3, beating Swampfrog Old Girls 6-1 in which Player of the Day Amy Laurent scored a hat-trick.
Woodcom Hautapu Men’s won 5-1 against Suburbs Pastits in the Men’s Reserve 2 competition, while Te Miro Water Hautapu lost their Men’s Reserve 4 game 2-0 to Concept Joinery Old Boys.
