Hautapu Sports’ rugby player Tama Hodgson is giving back to the game by coaching at his former school, Hamilton Boys High School.

Hodgson’s team won the U-16 championship play-off at the North Island Secondary Schools Te Ika Maui 7’s tournament held at Cambridge’s Memorial Park.

The premiership grade was won by St Peter’s, Cambridge.

The Hamilton Boys High team featured Moss Kewish, son of Hautapu’s director of rugby, Nigel Kewish.

Moss Kewish was injured during the tournament but was able to collect his tournament medal with his teammates.
