Waikato representative and Hautapu Sports forward Hamilton Burr will coach the club’s Development squad in the 2025 rugby season.

Burr (28) helped coach Hautapu Sports’ Premier A squad in 2024, and will lead the Development squad’s efforts to improve on their semi-final berth achieved last season.

Burr started his coaching career in his native Scotland, coaching youth teams at Aberdeen Wanderers and Stirling County.

Since his move to New Zealand in 2019, he has played more than 50 games for the Waikato NPC side and become an integral part of Hautapu Sports’ efforts to develop young players.
