Hautapu Sports’ senior men’s hockey side have won the grand final of the Waikato Men’s Reserves 4 competition in their inaugural season.
Goals from Hayden Chittenden and Lochie Wood helped win the final 2-1 against Te Awamutu.

In the club’s second grand final of the day at Hamilton’s Gallagher Hockey Centre, Hautapu Sports’ senior women’s side finished runners-up in the Waikato Women’s Reserve 3 competition, a huge achievement in their first season.
The women’s side were beaten 2-1 by Culswick Wanderers in their grand final.
