Hautapu Sports Club have opened online registrations for its youngest members — for all those wanting to play junior netball, rugby and hockey during the 2024 winter seasons.

Netball

Primary and intermediate hockey is played on Friday afternoons/evenings at various Waikato locations.

Rugby (up to year 6)

Rippa Rugby teams are for new entrants for year 0-2 children. They play on Friday evenings, mainly at Memorial Park, Taylor St, with some games at Leamington Rugby Club, Carlyle St, Leamington.
For children in years 3-6, we provide tackle rugby teams who play at Memorial Park on Saturday mornings.
Depending on team numbers in each grade, some grades may travel to various clubs that could include Putararu, Hinuera and SURF (Tokoroa).

Cambridge Junior Rugby Sports Club (CJRS) provides rugby for intermediate players (years 7-8).
CJRS enters teams in the Waikato Central Rugby competition, with home games played at Memorial Park, and away games at venues in Hamilton.
