Registrations have opened for Hautapu Sports Club’s junior and senior touch modules for Term 4 of 2025.
Competitions will start on Friday October 17, 2025, and end on Friday December 5, 2025.
To play, senior teams need to register by Friday September 26, 2025.
Registrations for juniors close on Friday September 26, 2025, and children will then be allocated to a team.
Games will be played at Memorial Park, Taylor St, Cambridge.
Senior module
Registration cost per team is $260.
- Teams will play in one social grade but this may split into two pools after the opening round.
- Two female players need to be on the field at all times.
- Teams play one game per night; with the first round starting at 6pm, second round at 6.45pm and the third at 7.30pm.
- Referees will be provided.
- Draws will be circulated once registrations close.
Junior module
Hautapu Sports Club will run the Junior Touch Module for years 3-8, with three grades (years 3 & 4, years 5 & 6 and years 7 & 8).
The club is affiliated with Waikato Touch and Touch NZ. By playing in an affiliated module, players are eligible to trial for Waikato reps.
Fees are $60 per player.
- All players need to wear sneakers or touch shoes. No bare feet. No metal sprigs.
- Players will wear Hautapu Sports Club shirts and black shorts (the club will provide shirts for the season).
- First-round games start at 4 pm and are played half-hourly after.
- Games will comprise of 2 x 12 minutes halves with a 2-minute half time.
- Year 3/4 games will be played first, then Year 5/6 followed by Year 7/8.
- Referees will be provided for all games.
