Hautapu Sports Club’s senior hockey teams have won two of their four games in the latest round of Waikato competitions.
In the Women’s Reserve 3 competition, Evans & Co. Hautapu Women’s beat Varsity Chicks 2-1.
In their third game at Men’s Reserve 2 level, after winning promotion, the Woodcom Hautapu Men’s team beat Hamilton Old Boys Junior Development side 5-2.
Hautapu Sports’ other sides lost by the narrowest of margins.
On Saturday, the Waipa Civil Hautapu Women’s lost 3-2 to Wanderers in the Women’s Reserve 2 grade, while the Te Miro Water Hautapu Men’s side lost on Sunday by the same score to Fraser Tech.
