ROUND-UP: Three sides win in second round of Waikato Rugby competitions

All Hautapu Sports senior rugby sides went on scoring sprees in the second round of Waikato Rugby competitions.

The Premier A, U-21s and Women’s Premiership teams all had emphatic wins, while the Development side lost a high-scoring encounter at University.

Waisake Salabiau scored a double in the Premier A team’s 33-17 win against University, while Todd Silva touched down three times in the Development side’s 57-31 loss to University.

The women’s team ran riot against Kihikihi, winning 62-10 with Keelah Bodle scoring a hat-trick of tries.

Hautapu’s U-21 team ran out comfortable winners against Morrinsville Sports, scoring five tries in their 35-10 victory at home.
