Trip to Te Awamutu will start rugby season for Hautapu Sports’ Colts

Hautapu Sports Club’s Colts will travel to Waipa rivals Te Awamutu for the opening day of the new Waikato Rugby season.

The game will be one of six fixtures in the 2025 competition on Saturday April 5.

The competition has 13 teams, meaning one club gets a bye in each round.
