Hautapu Sports’ Senita Lauaki and Rui Farrant have been selected for the Waikato side to compete at the Northern Regions Rugby 7s tournament.
The eight-team tournament will be held at Morrinsville’s Campbell Park on Saturday November 23, 2024, with the first game starting at 10am.
Teams taking part in the men’s division are North Harbour, Thames Valley, Taranaki, Northern Region Barbarians, King Country, Counties Manukau, Northland and Waikato.
The women’s division will be contested by North Harbour, Thames Valley, Taranaki, Waikato, King Country and Counties Manukau.
Entry is $5 for adults and free for U-16s. A beer garden and food trucks will cater for spectators, while children’s activities will encourage a family-friendly day.
Proceeds from the AHS Group-sponsored event will help raise funds for the Campbell Park redevelopment.
