Two high-profile sporting icons will share their stories with guests at Hautapu Sports Club’s Long Lunch on Friday, November 1.
George Simon and David Galbraith will be the guest speakers at the annual fundraiser which this year will support Starship Hospital, the Waikato IHC Kapa Haka group and Hautapu Sports’ rugby sevens overseas trip.
Guests will enjoy hearing these entertaining speakers at the Hautapu clubrooms.
Our speakers
- George Simon is the voice of horse racing, having presented for Trackside and called thousands of races in a career that led to him receiving last year’s Outstanding Contribution to Racing award.
- David Galbraith is a clinical psychologist who has worked as a performance coach with some of New Zealand’s leading sports teams, including the New Zealand Sevens, and the Chiefs.
Cricketer Tim Seifert was originally intending to speak at the function but unfortunately he’s had to withdraw.
Our lunch is a chance to relax, enjoy lunch and drinks in good company and be entertained — and all in a good cause.
Doors will open at 12pm.
