Hautapu Sports’ senior netball sides have finished their Saturday competitions with finals day at the Cambridge Netball Centre.
Of the four Saturday teams, the Hautapu Goal Diggers finished on the strongest note, beating Cambridge Harlequins 36-7 to take 7th place in the A Grade competition.
In the Premier Reserve competition, Hautapu Hustlers lost 34-33 to Cambridge Harlequins in the day’s closest result.
Down by six points going into the last quarter, Hautapu piled on the pressure to get within a point of catching their opponents.
Meanwhile, Hautapu Hawks finished 4th in the Premier Reserves and Hautapu Hot Shots finished fourth in the A Grade.
