ROUND-UP: Men’s hockey side goes three points clear with latest win

Hautapu Sports’ senior men’s hockey have gone three points clear at the top of their Waikato Reserve 4 competition, with an 8-2 win against Waikato University.

Lochie Wood had an outstanding day, with four goals, while Hayden Chittenden added a double.

In the Women’s Reserve 3 grade, Hautapu Sports are equal on points with co-leaders Waikato University, despite losing 3-0 to Culswick Wanderers in their latest game.

The women’s competition is turning out to be a close affair.
