Hautapu Sports have ended their senior rugby season, finishing runners-up in the Waikato Breweries Shield.
The Premier A side lost the final 22-8 to Hamilton Marist, after trailing 19-3 at half-time.
The side gave their all, attempting to win back-to-back shields in a rematch of last year’s grand final.
