Hautapu Sports have finished runners-up in the 2024 Elliot Shield, the premier rugby competition for Waikato Colts teams.
Hautapu hosted the grand final of the Elliot Shield at Memorial Park, losing 25-15 to Hamilton Marist.
Marist took an 8-3 lead into half-time and then held off a strong second half effort by Hautapu to take the shield.
