A grand final and two semi-finals — that’s the senior rugby menu for Hautapu Sports supporters this weekend.
The Hautapu Colts feature in their third final in a row when they host Hamilton Marist at Memorial Park to play for the Elliot Shield.
The game kicks off at 1pm on Saturday July 13, 2024.
The Premier A side will return to last weekend’s opponents, University of Waikato, to meet in the semi-final of the Waikato Breweries Shield.
The sides meet at Waikato University at 2.45pm, with Hautapu looking to defend the shield they won last season, and reach the shield final for the sixth time in seven years.
The winners of that semi-final will meet the winner of the second semi-final, between Hamilton Marist and Hamilton Old Boys.
Hautapu Sports’ Development side have made the semi-finals of the Rowe Cup Premiership for the first time since 2018.
They’ll travel to Fred Jones Park for a 1pm match against Hamilton Old Boys.
The victor will meet the winners of the other semi-final, between Otorohanga and Hamilton Marist.
