After a winning streak of six games, Hautapu Sports’ women’s hockey side have finally been beaten, losing 2-1 to Swampfrog Old Girls in their latest fixture.

Playing in the Waikato Women’s Reserve 3 competition, Ahumaia Aramoana-Arlidge scored for Hautapu to keep the side within one point of competition leaders Suburbs strikers.

Meanwhile, the Hautapu men’s team extended their winning run to seven games with a 5-1 win against Concept Joinerey Old Boys.
