Hautapu Sports’ Premier rugby sides won their King’s Birthday Weekend games at Morrinsville.
The Premier A side won their ninth-round fixture 39-15 after leading 20-12 at half-time. The result means Hautapu goes into the second round Premiership as the second-highest ranking team.
The match marked hooker Nic Jeffcoat’s 50th appearance for Hautapu Sports.

Hautapu’s development side won the Premier B fixture 34-24, after taking a 19-12 first-half lead.
Hautapu’s Colts and Women’s Championship sides did not play over the long weekend.
