Junior netballers enjoy good start to season with tournament at Te Awamutu

Three junior netball teams took to the courts for the first time in the 2024 season, representing Hautapu Sports at the Te Awamutu Netball Centre’s junior tournament.

The three Hautapu teams were year 7 teams 7A and Moana, and year 8 team 8A.

Benefitting from the experience of playing in tournament conditions, the teams represented Hautapu Sports well, on and off the court, with some fine netball and sportsmanship.

Hautapu 8A played eight games and finished runners-up in the 14-team year 7/8 competition.
