Christmas and the festive season is a great time to reflect on the year that was, recharge the batteries, and with an element of excitement, consider what lies ahead in 2024.
If you’re reading this, chances are that Hautapu Sports has been part of your 2023 year, and will hopefully be the same in 2024.
We know from feedback, that whatever sport you are involved with, a sense of community and being part of our club is something special.
We know that 1556 active sporting members feel that sense of pride every time they put on our club colours.
Of course, this couldn’t and wouldn’t happen without a huge number of volunteers, an innovative and committed committee, whanau, and supporters.
These legends give up their time, are prepared to give back, and in return, get to ride the wave of highs and lows of community sport.
Add in a fantastic group of sponsors and funders, across many different business and family backgrounds. Their support which has continued during a difficult financial year, is clearly a vital factor in allowing Hautapu Sports to play such an integral role in providing community and grassroots sports, and the sense of belonging to a club.
Quite simply put, we could not survive and operate to the level we do without you all.
So however you fit or whatever part you play, big or small, a special end of year “thank you” for choosing to be part of our Hautapu Sports family.
On behalf of our hard-working committee, we wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a safe and happy festive season, knowing an exciting 2024 year lies ahead for Hautapu Sports!
