The draw is now available for the 2023 Waikato Club Sevens at Memorial Park on Saturday November 4.
Hautapu have entered the Men’s Open and Colts U-21 sections of the one-day tournament.
Competition will be held in four grades:
- Men’s Open
- Women’s Open
- Colts U-21
- U-85kgs
All competitions are for Waikato clubs only.
Last year, the Waikato Club Sevens resumed after missing 2021 through COVID disruption, with the event held at Marist Park, Hamilton.
Hamilton Old Boys Huskies successfully defended their women’s title won in 2020, while Leamington won their fourth club sevens title in a row by taking last year’s Division 1 crown.
University won the 2022 Premier grade event, beating Fraser Tech 19-12 in the final.
