Triple helping of top rugby as Hautapu Sports hosts its annual Club Day

posted in: News, Rugby

It’s going to be the biggest day of the rugby season so far when Hautapu Sports host three top games on Saturday, on its annual Club Day.

Our unbeaten Colts side play Eastern Suburbs at 1pm, on the number 1 field, while the Development team play Hamilton Marist on the main pitch at Memorial Park.

At 2.45pm, spectators will see the two top teams in the Waikato Premier A competition go head-to-head when Hautapu face leaders Hamilton Marist.

The winners will lead the competition.

Club Day

On Saturday May 13, all three Hautapu sides will play at home, providing the maximum rugby entertainment for our annual Club Day.

Club Day reunites past members and supporters and this year, the club will support Leukaemia & Blood Cancer NZ and Reel Recovery NZ, raising awareness and money to help both charities continue their much-needed work.

Auction items will include specially-designed jerseys, provided by our apparel partner Dynasty NZ, to be worn in the Waikato Premier Rugby match against Marist.

Straight after the final whistle, the shirts will be cleaned, dried and delivered to the clubrooms for supporters to bid on.
