Hautapu Sports’ Colts have had an impressive start to the Waikato rugby season with three wins from as many games.
After beating Waitete, Matamata and Te Awamutu, the Colts sit second on the 16-team table.
Five clubs are within a competition point of each other in a congested battle for the lead.
Hautapu have the second best attacking record with 119 points scored so far, and have the equal best defensive record with only 24 points conceded.
The Colts are at home for their next game, when they play Hinuera at Memorial Park on Saturday April 29.
