Hautapu Sports Club have hosted New Zealand’s Kura ā Iwi sevens tournament, called Tūiranuku, for the second time, with a series of matches at Memorial Park.
The one-day tournament involved U-15 girls and boys, and U-18 girls and boys.
The Tūiranuku sevens were devised in 2022 to help select boys and girls teams to travel to an international sevens tournament in France.
This year’s event, played in glorious weather, was held at Memorial Park on April 5.
