Guests at Friday’s Long Lunch will be able to bid for some amazing items in our auction to help raise funds for Hautapu Sports Club and The Waterboy.
The Friday September 16 event at the Hautapu Sports clubrooms will feature guest speakers Sir Graham Henry and All Blacks legend Christian Cullen.
Our lunch is a chance to relax, enjoy lunch and drinks in good company and be entertained — all in a good cause.

Here are items to go under our auctioneer’s hammer:
ITEM 1: Original miniature bat signed by 1949 NZ cricket team to England

Unbeaten in the test series, and losing only one of 35 first class fixtures, this was arguably New Zealand’s best touring cricket teams.
The miniature bat was one of only 18 produced and is signed by team members including the great Bert Sutcliffe.
Other team members were Walter Hadlee (captain), Merv Wallace, Geoff Rabone, Verdun Scott, Martin Donnelly, Brun Smith, John Reid, Harry Cave, Cecil Burke, Johnny Hayes, Tom Burtt, Fen Cresswell, Jack Cowie, Frank Mooney and Jack Philipps (manager).
ITEM 2: Autographed 2017 Black Ferns jersey

The 2017 Black Ferns created history, becoming the first women’s team to be named World Rugby Team of the Year.
They swept all before them at the 2017 World Cup.
This iconic shirt has been signed by the full squad.
