A Battle of Waipa match will decide whether Hautapu Sports or Te Awamutu go through to the semi-finals of the Waikato Premier Rugby play-offs.
Hautapu’s Premier A side will face Te Awamutu in a sudden death quarter-final at Memorial Park on Saturday (July 2), kicking off at 2.45pm.
The winner goes through to the semi-finals on July 9 with victory then earning a spot at the Waikato finals day on July 16.
But for Saturday’s losing team, the season will be over.
Meanwhlle, Hautapu’s Colts head to Hamilton’s Elliot Park to play Fraser Tech (1pm) in the second round of their draw.
The scheduled game between Hautapu’s Premier B side and Morrinsville is off, due to Morrinsville’s decision to default the match.
This means our Development side has completed their season’s fixtures and players will be looking to offer support on Saturday for the Premier A and Colts teams.
