The air might be cold and crisp … but the energy and enthusiasm shown by Hautapu Sport’s junior hockey players certainly added heat to a Friday night’s action at St Peter’s, Cambridge.
The club is fielding 22 junior hockey teams that play every week, proudly wearing the red and white colours of their club.
After the latest round of games on Friday May 27, Hautapu’s Director of Junior Hockey, Marie Dale, said:
“Hockey tonight was amazing. It was fantastic to see so many Hautapu Sports junior hockey players and teams doing their best, and having fun.
“The week to week improvement of all our junior superstars is awesome to see.
“Tonight I was lucky enough to watch Hautapu Sports Waikato and Hautapu Sports Mooloo, two of our intermediate hockey teams that play at St Peter’s.
“The teamwork and skills displayed were amazing.”
