Waikato Premier Division rugby gets underway on Saturday (April 23) when Hautapu hosts Fraser Tech at Memorial Park.
The season opener pitches last year’s finalists in the competition with Hautapu looking for the chance to reverse last season’s decider, won by Fraser Tech.
The match kicks off at 2.45pm.
Hautapu Sports Club goes into the Premier competition with the strongest recent record of any team.
The side has made the semi-finals five years in a row and won the competition in 2019 and 2020.
Development team
Prior to the Premier game, the club’s Development Team will play Fraser Tech (1pm).

Meanwhile, the Colts travel to play Hamilton Old Boys away, kicking off at 1pm.
