In 1998, Hautapu Sports Club reached the final of the Waikato Draught Shield, facing hot favourites and shield holders Old Boys RFC.
The Hamilton team was expected to comfortably win but the team from Cambridge had other ideas and took home the shield (which they retained in 1999).
The match programme has been converted to a digital format so new generations can learn our story and pass it on.
