How to register online for this season's junior rugby
Registrations for 2026 junior rugby (tackle) open on Monday February 16.
Hautapu Sports Club’s tackle grades cater for children in years 3—6, and play in the Waikato-wide junior rugby sub-union.
Most games kick off at 10am on Saturdays, except for the 11th grade (year 6) who start at 11am. These times are subject to change once the season draw is released, and for public holiday weekends.
The club’s junior tackle rugby programme needs a volunteer (or group of volunteers) to co-ordinate the module this season.
The role can be shared, or suit someone who enjoys watching youngsters enjoy their sport each weekend.

The junior season is expected to start the first weekend in May but will be confirmed when draws are released.

Online registrations open: Monday February 16, 2026.
Registrations close: Sunday March 15, 2026.
