Hautapu Sports retain Waipa Cup and George Simkin Shield with big win

Hautapu Sports have retained the Waipa Cup and the George Simpkin Shield after an emphatic win against Te Awamutu Sports in the Waikato Rugby Premier A competition.

Playing at Memorial Park, Hautapu Sports won 101-7.

Earlier, the Hautapu Sports/Melville combined side lost 38-26 in a competitive match against Hamilton Old Boys Huskiez in the Waikato Women's Premier competition.

Hautapu's Development side and U-21 Colts both won by default.
