Hautapu lose close game in latest round of Premier Ladies netball

Hautapu Sports have been shaded by their Leamington rivals in their third game in the women's Premier netball competition.

In a close contest at St Peters, the two sides matched each other for points until the final whistle, when Leamington were ahead 41-37.

Leamington led by a single point at the end of the first quarter, and only two points kept them apart as the teams entered the final quarter.

The result leaves Hautapu in 5th position on the eight-team table after three rounds.
