- Training starts: this is up to the team coach/manager who will communicate this with each team directly.

Junior Netball is a significant part of Hautapu Sports Club
Hautapu Sports Club offers players the opportunity to play junior netball in Years 0-8. These are broken into two age groups - primary (years 0-6) and middle/intermediate (years 7-8). Children play in age group levelled teams Year 0-2, Year 3/4, Year 5/6 and Year 7/8. These are Future Ferns modules with a focus on players and teams learning and improving skills, sportsmanship, teamwork and most importantly having fun while playing netball. This module is administered by Cambridge Netball Centre.

Fees are per player
- Year 0 - 2: $65
- Year 3 -6: $85
- Year 7 - 8 Cambridge: $95
- Year 7 - 8 Hamilton: $135

For players in years 0-6, we will enter teams representing Hautapu Sports Club in the Cambridge Netball Centre 2024 season.

Cambridge Competition
- For players in years 7-8, we will enter teams representing Hautapu Sports Club into the Cambridge Netball Centre 2026 season.

Game times: early afternoon
Hamilton Competition
- For players in years 7-8, we will enter a year 7 and a year 8 competitive team by way of trial selection representing Hautapu Sports Club in the Hamilton Netball Centre competition.
- These games are played at Hamilton Netball Centre, 6 Moore Street, Forest Lake, Hamilton.
